Band members bios

Deneece Marion is a Franco-American-Canadian singer from Montreal. She touches each heart with her intense voice and passionate delivery, bringing emotional chills and inviting great enthusiasm from the crowd. Her performances are known to leave audiences grinning from ear to ear and wanting more!

After studying at the Prochant School in Montreal and with EMI artist Jeri Brown, Deneece went on to perform in numerous popular Montreal nightclubs and venues. She then toured throughout Quebec with the female trio Alibi until their regular performances at the Casino du Lac Leamy brought them to the Gatineau-Ottawa area more permanently.

Deneece has since performed in countless area venues, including the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival and the National Gallery of Canada. In 2010, Deneece's one woman stage show led to her CD album release, "From Bromont to Broadway" in June 2011 from which songs have played on numerous radio stations across Canada. She is now D-Tour's lead vocalist!

***********************************************

Larry Wayne Church is an accomplished professional lead guitarist, playing in several local bands with varied styles such as blues, jazz and rock. He is a rare guitarist on today’s music scene with his ability to genuinely co-exist in many genres, from rock to blues and soul.

He has been a professional guitarist for over 30 years and has performed with a multitude of talented musicians throughout the province of Ontario. He has developed his own style of playing, letting the guitar sometimes basically explode in a technically superb solo - really squeezing the best out of the guitar. He is now D-Tour's lead guitarist!

Pierre Breton AKA "Pete" has been playing drums and singing for over 45 years. He has performed in great, well-renowned clubs such as the Chaudière, the OAK Door and numerous other venues in the Gatineau-Ottawa region.

It was the Beatles that ignited the fire in him to become a musician. Many numerous British bands, R & B and Funk bands have also been a great influence in his musical style. He believes in delivering songs with accuracy, groove and rich vocal/musical arrangements.

Still to this day, he feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to perform and take part in musical ventures. His goal: to make people happy. He is now D-Tour's drummer and lead/back-up vocalist!

***********************************************

Denis Archambault started playing bass in the Ottawa scene from the mid 1960s’ until 1972. He then took a hiatus while working full-time and raising his family but continued playing for his own personal enjoyment.

During the 1960s’, Denis was compelled to perform music when he first saw The Beatles. Bass being his primary instrument, he also plays classical and electric guitar as well as harmonica.

After retirement, Denis’ motivation to perform was rekindled once again. He joined a band eight years ago and performed in venues such as the Bar 7 at Casino Lac-Leamy, car shows and various corporate events in the Gatineau-Ottawa region.

Though he mostly covered rock music, he is also strongly influenced by Blues, R & B and Jazz. He emphasizes that music keeps him young at heart. He is now D-Tour's bassist and back-up vocalist!
